July Dealer Brand Ambassadors Announced

Home Dealer News

THREE Nissan dealership employees are basking in the sun after being named a ‘‘Brand Ambassador of the Month” for July.

The monthly award, which is open to all staff in the Nissan retail network, recognises an individual’s outstanding commitment to customers and colleagues. It is designed to celebrate best practice and exceptional individual performance, and in July the award saw Steve Burger of Glyn Hopkin, Milton Keynes, Liam Lynch of Pat Kirk Nissan, Omagh and Mary Heston of WR Davies, Telford winning praise from NMGB directors and 350 N-GAGE points each.

Sales Consultant Steve Burger was nominated by Glyn Hopkin Milton Keynes Sales Manager Neil Franklin after feedback received from a customer who was looking to buy a new electric car.

The customer said: “I went to see the Renault Zoe and to be honest I didn’t like it but was offered a good deal. So I thought I’d see what was in offer at Nissan and started talking to Steve who was extremely helpful in answering my questions. We discussed options for approximately 1.5 hours. Steve was very knowledgeable about the Leaf and explained all my questions. After a bit of negotiation I put pen to paper and agreed to get the newer model bearing in mind I came into there not at all thinking I would get the newer Leaf. If I could give 10 stars I would.”

Aftersales Performance Manager Carl Copestake at Pat Kirk nominated Liam Lynch, Service Manager, for consistently going out of his way to help customers.

“Liam has managed to resolve three customer issues where the vehicle is off the road and we are unable to supply the part. He has gone out of his way to source the required part and even dispatched drivers to fetch the parts from Southern Ireland,” he said.

Finally, Mary Heston, Motability Specialist at WR Davies, was put forward by the Customer Quality team following recognition from a customer, who told them: “I received fantastic customer service from Mary Heston with the handover of my vehicle. Mary is very helpful and is without doubt the best customer service advisor I have had when my vehicle is ready for changeover. 10 out 10.”

The Brand Ambassador of the Month awards continue throughout 2019 and senior staff are invited to nominate their best team members. The deadline for August nominations is September 13th.
